Privacy policy
Chronotrace has no accounts and keeps your progress on your device. It shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device data; this page explains exactly what.

Who we are
Chronotrace is made by SectorOne Consulting LLC (“Sector One Consulting”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what the Chronotrace game for iPhone, iPad and Android does with your information. Questions go to admin@sectoroneconsulting.com.
What stays on your device
Your level progress, stars, best times, power-up settings and Chrono Charges are saved on your device. We do not run servers for Chronotrace, there are no Chronotrace accounts, and we never receive this data. Deleting the app deletes the copy on that device; see Cloud save below for the optional copy in your Google or Apple account.
Cloud save (optional)
If you are signed in to Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iPhone and iPad), Chronotrace stores a copy of your progress (stars, best times, Chrono Charges and Overclock trial uses) in your Google Play Games or Apple iCloud account, so it carries over to your other devices. This copy is stored and protected by Google or Apple under their privacy policies; we cannot access it. To stop syncing, sign out of Play Games or Game Center. To delete the cloud copy, remove Chronotrace’s data from your Play Games settings or iCloud storage.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
From level 6 onward, Chronotrace shows ads served by Google AdMob, unless you buy Remove Ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect:
- your device’s advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or Apple’s IDFA if you allow tracking),
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device and app information (model, operating system, app version, language),
- ad interactions (which ads were shown or tapped) and crash or performance diagnostics.
Google uses this to show ads, prevent fraud and, where you consent, personalize ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws, Chronotrace asks for your choice before personalized ads are used, and you can change it at any time from Privacy options in the game. On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s “Allow tracking” prompt controls access to your advertising identifier.
Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Power-ups, Chrono Charges and Remove Ads are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment; we never see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation of which items you own, which it stores on your device and can restore with “Restore purchases”.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not run our own analytics or tracking in Chronotrace.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
Children
Chronotrace is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, contact us and we will help.
Your choices
- Ads personalization: use Privacy options in the game, or reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Tracking on iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Remove ads entirely: buy Remove Ads in the shop.
- Delete your data: uninstall the app. Data held by Google for advertising is governed by Google’s policies above.
How long data is kept
Game data stays on your device until you delete the app, and in your Play Games or iCloud account if you use cloud save, until you remove it there. We hold no copy. Advertising data collected by Google is retained under Google’s own retention policies.
Your rights in the US
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. When personalized ads are enabled, the advertising identifiers described above are shared with Google, which some state laws treat as “sharing”.
To opt out, choose non-personalized ads in Privacy options where shown, turn off ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads; iPhone: deny tracking), or buy Remove Ads. Because we hold no game data about you, deletion requests about advertising data are handled by Google; we will help you with any request at admin@sectoroneconsulting.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Your rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Personalized ads are shown only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Privacy options. Non-personalized ads and fraud prevention rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game free and secure. You may access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights. Google may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
